Business Development Executive Profile

Profile
Candidate
will be responsible for developing and managing
lead generation, qualification, sales and tracking
progress in a business-to-business environment.
Candidate must be capable of working independently
to produce results using a varying mixture of
lead sources including website and seminar leads,
partnership leads, purchased lists and predominantly
cold calling into targeted companies. The bulk
of the responsibility for this person will be
outside sales. Candidate will contact prospective
clients in the marketplace, articulate business
value and offerings, and schedule appointments
to meet with the prospective client. Candidate
will work in a team-based selling environment.
Sales experience with an information technology
consulting firm, financial planning firm, business
solutions firm, or in the high-tech industry is
a plus.
Our

At
least 5 years of strong sales experience, and
a verifiable, proven track record of success.
You must be a team player and have demonstrated
a strong work ethic and the ability to reach and
exceed goals and quotas. Prior experience with
selling solutions is a plus. A highly motivated,
driven and confident person is expected.
Responsibilities
Identifies
and qualifies new prospective client opportunities
in targeted vertical markets and targeted companies
Establishes
and builds relationships with senior executives
and senior line of business managers with highly qualified prospective clients
Focuses
on building relationships through outside selling
skills and "Helping Clients Succeed"
sales process
Closes
new business opportunities and works with sales
specialists dedicated to cultivating additional business opportunities in assigned client companies
Maintains
proactive relationship management with assigned
client base
Plays
a key role in the creation, facilitation and delivery
of corporate services overview and solutions presentations
Works
with inside prospect managers, and management
team to develop quotations, project proposals and ensures project completion for all clients
Provides
feedback to sales management and business owners
to ensure company's solutions continue to meet client needs
Manages/maintains
prospect database
Requirements
Minimum
5-7 years sales experience
Bachelor's
degree required
Proven
history of sales successes
Excellent
interpersonal skills and relationship building
abilities
Excellent
verbal and written communication skills
Well
organized and demonstrates ability to administer
client activities in consulting services
Strong
ability to be successful in a team environment
Demonstrated
resourcefulness in current/past positions
Persistence
and tenacity in closing profitable solution
sales that produce value to clients
Background
in consultative sales in IT industry is desirable
