Prospect Manager Profile

Profile
Candidate will be responsible for developing and
managing lead generation, qualification, and tracking
progress in a business-to-business environment.
Candidate must be capable of working independently
to produce results using a varying mixture of
lead sources including website and seminar leads,
partnership leads, purchased lists and predominantly
cold calling into targeted companies. The bulk
of the responsibility for this person will be
cold calling. Candidate will contact prospective
clients in the marketplace, articulate business
value and offerings, and schedule appointments
for outside sales representatives to meet with
the prospective client. Candidate will work in
a team-based selling environment. Inside Sales
experience with an information technology consulting
firm, financial planning firm, and business solutions
firm or in the high-tech industry is a plus.
Our

At least 2 years of strong customer service and
successful inside sales experience, and a verifiable,
proven track record of success. You must be a
team player and have demonstrated a strong work
ethic and the ability to reach and exceed goals
and quotas. A highly motivated, driven and confident
person is expected.

Effective
verbal and written communication skills
Basic
computer skills and knowledge of the Internet
Previous
telemarketing/inside sales experience
Consultative
approach to selling and communicating with clients
over the phone
Detail
oriented & effective follow-through skills
Education:
4-year Bachelor degree is preferred
Responsibilities
Prospecting
& market research
Cold
calling into targeted companies
Make
a minimum of 110 dials per day
Schedule
6-8 appointments/week
Assist
clients in understanding unique business value
and solution offerings
Set
"qualified" appointments
Qualify
leads via telephone and email in a business-to-business
environment
Work
with sales and marketing teams to define prospecting
objectives and qualification parameters
Work
with marketing and sales teams to develop lead
generation campaigns and implement processes to track their effectiveness
Maintain
a lead tracking database and reporting system
Coordinate
lead handoff and tracking with Business Development
Executives
Self-motivated,
capable of working with minimal supervision
Strong
computer skills including MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Outlook
(email), a Sales Force Automation tool and an Internet-based research tool
Flexible
and positive attitude
