Jim Alkire, President
Vendere Partners President Jim Alkire is a leader in the B2B lead generation industry. He has vast experience in sales and consulting, and is an expert in sales management, business solutions development, and in building businesses through organic growth and acquisitions.
Jim began his career as a technology consultant. After working as a consultant for Systemation, an information technology consulting firm, Jim took on different sales and management roles within the company. He remained at Systemation for 10 years until the company was acquired by Cap Gemini Sogeti, a prominent technology solutions and consulting firm, in 1991. Jim served as general manager of Cap Gemini Sogeti for six years. He led the company’s business unit in Michigan, and turned Cap Gemini Sogeti’s money-losing Detroit operation into a profitable one. In addition, he was instrumental in opening a new Cap Gemini Sogeti office in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Upon leaving Cap Gemini Sogeti, Jim joined Immedient, an e-solutions technology and professional services company, as general manager of the Texas region. Jim successfully grew Immedient’s Texas region from a 1 million dollar region to an 8 million dollar region. His success was duly noted when he became president of Immedient in 2000. During his three years as president, he grew Immedient from a 20 million dollar business to a 70 million dollar business through strategic acquisitions and by fostering organic growth.
In 2003, Jim co-founded Vendere Partners with colleague Sean O’Neil. As president of Vendere, he has been instrumental in increasing Vendere’s profits annually since the company’s inception, and takes pride in the fact that Vendere has not had to rely on outside private investments to fund Vendere’s growth.
Jim currently lives in Dallas, TX. When he is not serving Vendere and its clients, he enjoys golfing, traveling and watching his daughter play tennis for Xavier University.
Jim holds bachelors’ degrees in computer science and theoretical mathematics from Indiana State University. He also holds a master’s degree in marketing from the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management.
